Library Digital Inclusion Fund Final Report
This report shares the findings of our digital inclusion activities project with libraries and our recommendations on how libraries can best deliver and utilise digital inclusion activities.
Through the UK Online Centres Network, we support thousands of libraries every year to help people in their communities develop the digital skills they need to improve their lives. But we want to do more to ensure libraries can work with other partners, both locally and nationally, can reach deeper to support excluded groups, and can embed the most effective delivery models that complement the other services they offer.
From October 2015 – April 2016, we funded 16 library services across England to deliver innovative and sustainable digital inclusion projects, targeting vulnerable or isolated people to help them improve their basic digital skills.
This final report contains the findings from the project and our recommendations for how libraries can best deliver and utilise digital inclusion activities going forward.
