Voicebox Cafés: an evaluation

This evaluation report explores the work of our Voicebox Cafés project, aimed at providing a safe space for young women to participate in democracy and public life, using digital as an enabler.

Funded by the Grant Scheme, Good Things Foundation created Voicebox Cafés – an innovative democracy project, running for 8 months from May – December 2018 and delivered through 34 community centres across England.

Voicebox Cafés provided a safe space for women to get involved; encouraging young women to understand, celebrate and participate in democracy and public life, using digital as an enabler.

This report presents the impact of the Voicebox Cafés project and sets out what we have learnt about community democracy projects.
