There are currently 10m people in the UK who lack the essential digital skills for life. This means that one in five people struggle to communicate, search for health information, or access government services online.

Future Digital Inclusion

As the largest digital inclusion programme in the UK, this partnership with the Department for Education used the community reach of the Online Centres Network to support some of the hardest to reach groups in society, engaging them in digital.

 

Digital Life: Kenya

In July 2017, Good Things Foundation launched Digital Life: Kenya, a 12 month pilot project in partnership with the Kenya National Library Service (klns).

 

Local government partnerships

Good Things have worked on a variety of projects with local governments to increase digital accessibility in regions throughout the UK.

The Digital Garage

Good Things Foundation has partnered with Google to bring the Digital Garage programme to the Online Centres Network and the people in their communities.

 

The Prince’s Countryside Fund

In this project, Good Things Foundation worked with the Prince's Countryside Fund to create thriving rural communities underpinned by thriving rural enterprises. Strong rural economies are good for jobs, people and social capital.
