Skills for Tomorrow
Through our partnership with BT, we're helping to support older and vulnerable people through free support, which will help them to get online and make the most of the digital tools modern life increasingly depends on.
The UK faces an alarming digital skills gap, which is having a profound impact on our country. Millions of people and a significant number of businesses across the UK lack the essential digital skills they need, which risks making social divides wider and is having an estimated £63bn annual impact on the UK’s future competitiveness.
As one of the leading digital skills organisations in the UK, BT has chosen to partner with Good Things Foundation on the Skills for Tomorrow programme, helping to support older and vulnerable people through free face-to-face support, which will help them get online and make the most of the digital tools modern life increasingly depends on.
Digital skills support will be delivered across the country by the national Online Centres Network, which offers places in the community where anyone can go to learn face-to-face essential digital skills to build their digital confidence.
